C7 Stingray, Z51, Z06, Grand Sport Corvette Seat Mounting
The C7 Corvette is a difficult car to mount seats in. Compared to most cars, including previous Corvettes, the height of the roof line very much restricts what seats will fit in the car. Brey Krause is proud to introduce new seat mounting options for the corvette, the R-9153 (driver) and R-9154 (passenger), designed from the ground up to work within the limitations the C7 presents. By placing the seat rails on a slant, the seat is lower when in a rearward position on the slider than it could ever be while bolted to a flat seat track adapter. As a side perk, if you’re shorter and prefer a higher seat position, the seat will raise as you move forward-great for cars with multiple drivers. The R-9153/4 bolts directly to the floor of the Corvette. A Recaro slider bolts directly to the R-9153/4, and side mounts (Brey Krause 906X series or Recaro) bolt directly to the Recaro sliders and your seat. The included integrated sub-bar (removable) is adjustable for proper 5 or 6-point sub-strap routings, regardless of where you stop your seat on the slider. This design allows for reuse of stock 3-point belts and provides inboard/outboard 4/5/6 point harness lap belt mounting locations.

non Recaro seats can be used with these mounts, using the Brey Krause R-906X series seat mounts-using Recaro sliders does not mean you’re limited to Recaro seats.
